One of my favorite parts of any vacation is planning where we’ll eat! Disney makes this so fun with their many themed restaurants and advanced dining reservation system, which makes it feel a bit like a game to me! Once that 60-day window opens, it’s on and I love it so much. I usually like to plan one sit down meal each day since it’s a nice opportunity to take a break from all the walking and relax in air conditioning for a bit. Especially with kids, I think it’s well worth it to have these breaks built in ahead of time. And remember, friends, Disney is still offering FREE dining plans for kids in 2026! Now based on personal experience, here are the top 4 restaurants that I would recommend checking out next time you’re at Disney World!
- Be Our Guest at Magic Kingdom – This is an enchanting dining experience in the Beauty and the Beast castle with special appearances from the Beast himself! They offer both lunch and dinner with a prix fixe menu which includes an appetizer, entrée and dessert. It’s on the pricey side, but I was really impressed with the food here and I think it’s worth it. My husband and I both got the filet mignon for our entrée and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. It’s also a spacious restaurant with multiple rooms and lots of comfortable seating so it never seems too difficult to get a reservation. I would definitely go back and I think it’s a must do at least once. Plus, they have the cutest spot for photos (below)!
- San Angel Inn Restaurante at Epcot – Located in Epcot’s Mexico pavilion, this place gets a 10/10 for its unique setting and ambiance. It’s feels like you’re dining in Mexico at the night and it’s such a nice and relaxing break for the senses. Sitting in the cool air conditioning, under dim lighting, watching the boats go by for the Gran Fiesta Tour while enjoying a delicious margarita – how lovely does that sound? I also think the food here is really good and the prices are reasonable by Disney standards.
- Space 220 at Epcot – This is one of Epcot’s newer restaurants and I think it’s a standout. If you have an outer space lover in your group, this is a must visit but really anyone can appreciate the theming here. You’ll start your immersive dining experience by traveling 220 miles into outer space before arriving in the gorgeous restaurant featuring panoramic views of Earth. It makes for a great photo op! This is another prix fixe menu and again, it’s a little pricey but everything we tried was delicious. It’s worth the visit at least once for sure and I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
- Grand Floridian Café – This was going to be a top 3 list but I realized I could not leave off the Grand Floridian Café at Disney Grand Floridian Hotel! This is the only restaurant we have visited more than once because I just love it that much. It’s a wonderful excuse to visit the gorgeous Grand Floridian if you aren’t lucky enough to be staying there and both the food and service is top notch. I also think the prices are quite reasonable! We love to go for brunch on a non-park day.
What are your favorite Disney World restaurants? I would love your recommendations as I’m always looking to visit new ones each time I go – for research purposes, of course! 😊 Thanks for reading and happy travels, friends!
